Job summary

Academic Work Finland Oy is seeking a Hybrid Cloud Architect to bridge business needs and technical delivery. You will work with a team of eight to design, implement, and optimize reliable Azure and on-premises infrastructure, while staying close to day-to-day delivery.

The role offers growth in cloud architecture, automation with Infrastructure as Code, and collaboration with IT partners and stakeholders across office and manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT education or equivalent experience in IT infrastructure/cloud environments.
• Basic hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure or hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong interest in cloud architecture, infrastructure, and enterprise platforms.
• Basic understanding of networking, identity management, and cybersecurity.
• Interest in automation, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud operations (FinOps).
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent English skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions across Azure and on-premises environments.
• Support cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver infrastructure and platform solutions.
• Improve integrations between business applications, manufacturing systems, and data platforms.
• Define and apply technical standards and best practices.
• Learn and drive automation and Infrastructure as Code approaches.
• Assist in ensuring solutions are secure, reliable, and scalable.
• Participate in technology projects from planning through implementation.
• Evaluate new technologies and suggest practical improvements.
