Job summary

UPM Plywood is seeking a Hybrid Cloud Architect to design and implement Azure‑hybrid solutions that power both office and manufacturing operations. You will influence key architectural decisions while staying close to delivery, ensuring secure, scalable outcomes across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders and IT partners on migration, modernization, and data‑driven initiatives, driving automation and defining technical standards for a future‑proof IT

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud, infrastructure or solution architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure and platforms.
• Understanding of networking, identity management and cybersecurity.
• Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code and FinOps.
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A practical, hands-on approach to technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions across Azure and on-premises environments.
• Support cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Work with internal teams and external partners to deliver infrastructure and platform solutions.
• Improve integrations between business applications, manufacturing systems and data platforms.
• Help define technical standards and best practices.
• Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code approaches.
• Ensure solutions are secure, reliable and scalable.
• Participate in technology projects from planning through implementation.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend practical improvements.
