Job summary

Nokia Oyj is seeking a Hardware Test Designer to work with R&D and Production teams in Oulu, ensuring functionality, identifying process issues, and verifying performance against requirements.

You will collaborate with SW and Electromechanics Engineers to develop test applications, transfer them to global manufacturing sites, and then support the Maintenance team. The role combines hardware testing with software development, automation, and electronics expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience with RF/analogue/digital test methods.
• Solid knowledge of electronics design principles.
• Familiarity with production test requirements and processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with debugging and data analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D and Production to ensure hardware test effectiveness.
• Develop test applications for hardware in Oulu and coordinate transfer to global manufacturing sites.
• Apply software development, automation, and electronic design skills in testing tasks.
• Support colleagues across the USA and China and participate in knowledge transfer and training.
