Job summary

Brightsmith is seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to join our Occupational Safety team on data center and industrial construction projects in Finland. You will lead practical safety management on-site and collaborate with project managers, foremen, subcontractors and clients to integrate safety into every work stage.

• We are looking for an HSE Supervisor to join our occupational safety team for data center and industrial construction projects. The Digital Infrastructure, Energy and Industrial Construction business implements demanding industrial projects, energy plants and data centers.

• As the HSE Supervisor of the occupational safety team, you are responsible for the practical management of occupational safety on the construction site and ensure that safety matters are implemented according to plan in everyday life.
• You are an important part of the occupational safety team, coordinating daily safety work and ensuring smooth communication between different parties on the construction site.
• In this role, you will work in close collaboration with the project manager, the responsible foreman, other project management, employees, subcontractors and the client. You will ensure that safety instructions and practices are clear and that they are followed in all work phases.
• You are responsible for the practical implementation of site safety plans, the guidance of work-phase-specific safety solutions and the anticipation of risks.
• You organize inspections, monitor safety observations and actively intervene in deviations.
• You also participate in orientations and trainings and ensure that the site operates in accordance with laws, regulations and the client's requirements.
• You act as a key link in the development of an occupational safety culture and ensure that safety is a visible and integral part of everyday work on the site.
• The role of the HSE Supervisor also includes the implementation of orientations and other tasks related to the safety of the site area.
