DNV Energy Systems is hiring a Head of Department to lead the Solar & Battery Storage consulting business in Northern Europe. You will set a clear direction, empower leaders and translate strategy into measurable priorities and action.

You will drive growth for a 36-person team, shape new services, and advance AI-enabled solutions while building trusted relationships with clients across multiple countries. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery in a dynamic energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Several years of leadership experience, including leading other leaders.
• Experience in consulting, sales and commercial activities.
• Practical understanding of AI, data and digital tools.
• Professional fluency in English; knowledge of Northern European languages is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute the department strategy for Renewables Northern Europe.
• Lead and develop leaders across the department; foster inclusive culture.
• Drive sales pipeline, growth and profitable project delivery.
• Develop scalable consulting services and integrate AI/digital tools.
• Strengthen client relationships and capture new business opportunities.
