Job summary

Roima Intelligence Inc. is seeking an experienced Head of Projects for Lean System to lead a growing Project and Consulting team, delivering real business value to customers and guiding Lean System implementations across production, materials management and warehouses.

Based in Finland with a hybrid work model, you’ll drive profitability, align projects with budgets, and develop team capabilities while partnering with sales, product development and finance.

Qualifications

• Several years of project management experience delivering large IT or software projects.
• Experience in ERP consulting and knowledge of manufacturing operations processes.
• Proven leadership that inspires, develops people and drives performance.
• Fluent Finnish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of project managers and solution consultants, building a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Connect Lean System to customers' production, materials management and warehouse processes to maximize value.
• Ensure customer agreements are met to the customer’s satisfaction and maintain delivery quality.
• Support skill development in the team, especially Lean System and ERP know-how.
• Manage project portfolio performance, including profitability, forecasting and resource planning.
• Collaborate with unit director, sales, product development and finance to align on strategy and execution.

Your role

You’ll be a key player in our Project and Consulting team. You’ll lead a team of project managers and solution consultants who make sure our customers get real business value from Lean System. You’ll help develop the team and keep customers satisfied, and you’ll feed customer insight back into product development. You’ll make sure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. You’ll also be responsible for driving project profitability, resource utilization and delivery excellence across the Project and Consulting team. You’ll also help find new ways to apply Lean System to customers' manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of project managers and solution consultants, and build a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Help customers get the most out of Lean System by connecting the solution to their production, materials management and warehouse processes
• Make sure customer agreements are met to the customer's satisfaction
• Support skill development in the team, especially Lean System and ERP know-how
• Reach project and operational targets, and improve the accuracy of financial forecasts
• Take ownership of project portfolio performance, including delivery quality, profitability, forecasting and resource planning
• Work closely with the unit director and with sales, product development, finance and other team leads

We expect you to have

• Strong knowledge of Lean System ERP
• Several years of experience in project management, and a proven track record of delivering large, complex IT or software projects
• Experience in ERP consulting and knowledge of operations management processes in the manufacturing industry
• Team management experience, and a leadership style that inspires, motivates and develops people
• Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen, including financial monitoring and delivery practices
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills, and the ability to build trust and long-term relationships
• Ability to balance customer needs, business objectives and team well-being in a fast-changing environment
• A degree in business administration or engineering (at least a Bachelor of Engineering)
• Fluent Finnish and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel, mostly in Finland but also in the Nordics

It's a plus if you know any of the following

• Hands-on factory floor experience of managing manufacturing processes
• Product information management and product lifecycle services
• Financials and cost accounting
