Job summary

Veikkaus is seeking a Development Manager for our EGM Solutions team in Helsinki. You will guide a small, autonomous team delivering hardware and software for gaming devices, ensuring a clear big-picture focus and collaboration across business and technology units.

You will divide large visions into sensible increments, coach team members and help shape the company strategy, all within a hybrid workplace at Veikkaus headquarters in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki.

Qualifications

• General understanding and experience of agile development processes and projects.
• Good communication, networking and interaction skills (English & Finnish).
• Management skills and experience.
• An appropriate degree (BA/MA or similar polytechnic degree) or otherwise acquired appropriate competence.
• Possibility to work at the Veikkaus office minimum 3 times a week, in a hybrid manner.
• Experience from Prototyping and 3D modeling, PDM systems, PCB engineering and embedded systems AND/OR software design & tools or development, especially in cloud-based infrastructure/data analytics.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes is an advantage.
• Experience from the gaming industry.
• Experience in developing products for B2C or B2B environments.
