Job summary

Nordea in Helsinki seeks a strong, proven leader to steer the Core Technology Financial Partnering team. You will partner with technology leaders and report to the CFO Tech, guiding cost management and strategic financial support across Tech.

As part of Group Finance, the Core Technology Financial Partnering team is the trusted advisor and strategic finance partner to Core Technology and its stakeholders at Nordea. You will be reporting to CFO Tech and leading a team of dedicated and experienced Finance Partners with a footprint across Sweden and Poland. What you’ll be doing:

• Function as trusted financial partner towards Head of Core Technology (Group CTO) and CFO Tech
• Partner with Leaders across Technology to provide financial support, challenge assumptions and drive performance incl. Identifying, explaining and managing cost drivers
• Support on Strategic initiatives within Technology incl. creation and verification of business cases
• Ensure monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc cost control and reporting, providing meaningful and actionable insights and comments including risks & mitigating actions

Your background and skills include:

• Significant (8+ years) relevant experience e.g. Manager for infrastructure finance team, Finance Business Partner or management consulting with focus on Technology Infrastructure
• Proven analytical background and able to operate both deep within the details but also to see the big picture, when working with both numerical and verbal data
• Effective stakeholder management skills to build trusted relationships across Business and Technology
• Strategic mind-set and results-driven approach
• Degree (Master's or Bachelor's) in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience.
