Job summary

IQM Quantum Computers in Espoo, Finland, seeks an engineer with solid RF skills for hands-on lab work. You will assemble and test cryogenic and room-temperature RF setups, measure performance, and document results for production use.

The role involves close collaboration with R&D scientists and production teams, ensuring reliability and transfer of knowledge from lab to manufacturing. Relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on RF experience in lab, research or industry.
• Strong RF fundamentals including S-parameters, transmission lines, attenuation and amplification.
• Practical experience with RF test equipment and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install and verify cryogenic and room-temperature RF cabling and components.
• Run RF measurements with VNAs and spectrum analysers; analyse results for system performance.
• Troubleshoot signal integrity and impedance issues in measurement setups.
• Support commissioning and testing of cryogenic systems used for RF/quantum devices.
• Collaborate with scientists and senior engineers to improve measurement setups.
• Document assemblies and procedures so production can repeat work.
