Job summary

GE Vernova's Grid Solutions Finland Centre of Excellence in Tampere seeks an Engineering Manager for Control Software within the FACTS domain to lead a global team delivering software for STATCOM/SVC systems. You will oversee the full project lifecycle from tender evaluation to on-site commissioning and drive a first-time-right culture.

Ideal candidates hold an Electrical Engineering degree and have experience in grid control software (FACTS/HVDC/renewables) with proven leadership in

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's) or similar.
Experience in substation or grid control software design (FACTS/HVDC/renewables).
Experience with engineering process development and continuous improvement.
Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the Control Software team across tender through on-site commissioning.
Plan, organize, and execute Control Software activities for tenders and live projects.
Manage resource planning and KPI tracking across the portfolio.
Support R&D in FACTS control software development.
