Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's).
• Experience in substation or grid control software design (FACTS, HVDC, or renewable integration).
• Familiarity with engineering process development and continuous improvement methods.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Finnish language skills (preferred).
• Experience managing or mentoring engineering teams in an international environment (preferred).
• Exposure to high-power reactive power systems (STATCOM/SVC) (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop your team — manage day-to-day people leadership, mentor team members, support recruitment, and build a scalable resource portfolio.
• Drive delivery — plan, organize, and execute Control Software activities for tenders and live projects, ensuring customer specifications are met.
• Own project resourcing — validate resource needs and estimates across the portfolio, identifying gaps early.
• Advance quality — champion first-time-right delivery and identify process improvements.
• Set and track objectives — define KPIs and monitor performance to align with business goals.
• Support R&D — contribute to technical research in the FACTS Control Software space.
