Job summary

Wärtsilä Land & Sea Academy is seeking a Training Coordinator in Vaasa, Finland, to lead end-to-end training delivery and ensure an outstanding learning experience for customers and employees. The role blends customer service, operations, and digital tools to deliver successful programmes.

You will work closely with instructors, sales teams, and stakeholders to coordinate resources, schedules, and documentation, while continuously improving processes in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), training administration, learning operations, customer service, project coordination, or similar roles.
• Experience working with SAP and Salesforce is advantageous.
• Strong digital skills and comfort with learning new systems and technologies.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with adaptability to changing requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive mindset and ability to identify and implement improvements.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks; able to make scope-based decisions.
• Customer-focused approach and commitment to high-quality service.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Finnish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training delivery activities at the Vaasa Training Centre and other learning environments.
• Manage course scheduling, participant registrations, notifications, reporting, and training documentation.
• Maintain training records and related data in SAP, LMS, and other digital platforms.
• Coordinate resources (instructors, classrooms, workshops) allocation.
• Support training delivery and help resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively.
• Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve services and processes.
• Support planning, promotion, and execution of training activities for internal and external customers.
• Create and maintain training offerings and service packages.
• Collaborate with sales, account management, contract management, and business stakeholders to promote learning solutions.
• Support internal and external communication activities related to training services.
