Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Director of Service Sales to drive growth in the Flow Control service business and lead a global team of service specialists. The role focuses on expanding aftermarket revenue, improving planning, and delivering value to customers worldwide.

You will collaborate with global customers and sales teams, shaping service sales excellence and aligning with Valmet’s leadership principles. International travel is required, and the position offers a bright opportunity to influence

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
+7 years’ experience in equipment sales, service sales, or a combination of both.
Experience in leading, coaching and developing teams and organizations.
Good understanding of process industries, plant operations, reliability, maintenance and safety requirements.
Strong analytical capabilities; Excel proficiency is an advantage.
Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
Willingness to travel internationally roughly 80 days per year.

Responsibilities

Drive global service sales growth through strategic initiatives and aftermarket opportunities.
Lead and develop a worldwide team of service specialists supporting Market Area sales efforts.
Collaborate with customers to understand operational objectives and create value-driven service solutions.
Support local sales organizations with service sales expertise to expand revenue opportunities.
Promote sharing of best practices across the Flow Control organization.
