Job summary

Sine Engineering in Tampere, Finland, seeks a Frequency & Regulatory Compliance Specialist to own RF allocation, licensing, and product certification across global markets.

You will work across engineering, legal, and business development to ensure regulatory readiness for UAV communications and SDR systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in radio frequency management, spectrum regulation, or RF engineering.
• Knowledge of ITU Radio Regulations and national frequency allocation frameworks.
• Experience interacting with at least one national telecom regulator.
• Ability to read RF technical docs and product datasheets.
• Strong written communication skills (B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Research frequency bands for UAV comms and SDR systems in target markets.
• Monitor ITU regulations and national spectrum changes.
• Identify licensed, unlicensed, and restricted bands for products.
• Lead regulatory licensing lifecycle from application to renewal.
• Coordinate with HW engineers to ensure regulatory compliance before certification.
• Prepare regulatory docs for proposals and tenders.
