Job summary

Outokumpu Chrome Oy is seeking a Network Architect to design, implement, and evolve our global network infrastructure. You will translate business needs into secure, scalable solutions across LAN/WAN, data centers, cloud connectivity, and security controls.

You’ll lead architecture governance, define standards, and drive roadmaps in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders. The role requires 7+ years of experience, strong networking and security knowledge, and familiarity with Azure/cloud

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in network technologies, solutions and security.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of networking and security concepts, protocols, and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the current Network Architecture view across LAN, WLAN, WAN, firewalls, external access, and IP services.
• Define network standards, policies, and best practices.
• Create and drive short-term and long-term network roadmaps aligned with IT and business needs.
• Develop and uphold the target Outokumpu Network Architecture, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Support key partners in designing and implementing network solutions.
• Guide IT programmes and projects towards the agreed target architecture.
• Define and maintain consistent processes to ensure global technologies and standards are followed.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies and innovations in the network market.
• Own network documentation and develop processes for its review and lifecycle management.
• Ensure network designs comply with security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Design network solutions across cloud platforms.
