Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Service Coordinator/Engineer for Marine Automation to support and service our marine customers worldwide. You will plan, coordinate, and administrate service jobs across a global network, maintain quotations, and manage orders through invoicing in our ERP system.

The role requires an engineering background with PLC/automation programming knowledge, English fluency, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

We’re seeking a technical background or equivalent experience in customer service or project coordination.
Experience with ERP and CRM systems is required.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are essential.
Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.
An accurate, structured approach to work with ability to manage multiple projects.
A proactive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

Support and service Marine customers.
Plan, coordinate, and administer service jobs globally using our extensive service network.
Follow up on open warranty cases.
Maintain and update quotations with traceability and accuracy.
Manage orders from quotation to invoicing, create work orders in the ERP system, and coordinate timelines.
Plan and conduct service on demand and upgrades; support the execution team.
Serve as substitute for Service Manager and be part of the 24/7 emergency support line.
