Job summary

Lokki Henkilöstöpalvelut Oy is seeking a Service Engineer for our client in the Helsinki area. Based in Helsinki or Raisio, you will commission, maintain, and service electric propulsion systems for marine applications, following work instructions and safety guidelines.

The role involves frequent travel (about 150 days per year) to customer sites worldwide, close collaboration with customers and internal teams, and delivering high-quality service and technical support while developing expertise

Qualifications

B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering, automation, marine engineering or equivalent.
Willingness to travel internationally up to 150 days per year.
Experience with electrical propulsion systems is advantageous.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Good Finnish and English language skills.

Responsibilities

Commissioning and maintaining electric propulsion systems.
Supervising installations, startup, testing and commissioning with customers.
Performing service and warranty work on operating vessels.
Installing and commissioning equipment and diagnosing technical problems on site and remotely.
Carrying out additional service tasks and advising on solutions.
Building strong customer relationships and providing technical support.
