Job summary

Vaski Group is seeking a Business Controller to join the financial team in Seinäjoki. The role sits at the intersection of finance, projects and operations, collaborating with Finland and Sweden teams to turn financial data into actionable decisions.

You will monitor project costs, drive budgeting/forecasting, and provide financial insights to operations. The role offers growth in a fast-growing international company and involves occasional travel.

Qualifications

Approximately 5 years of experience in controlling or business controlling.
Relevant degree in finance, accounting, business or industrial engineering.
Proactive and analytical approach, with the confidence to challenge existing practices.
Strong Excel skills with budgeting, forecasting and financial monitoring.
Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Monitor the financial performance and costs of customer delivery projects.
Develop budgeting and forecasting processes.
Support operations with financial insights and data-driven decisions.
Follow R&D projects funded by initiatives such as Business Finland and ensure proper financial administration.
Develop and evolve Vaski Group’s controlling practices and reporting systems.
