Job summary

ICEYE, the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space, seeks a Tax Manager to join our Group Tax team in Espoo. You will advise on indirect tax, monitor legislation changes, and support cross-border flows in a fast-moving, international finance function.

Based in Espoo with a hybrid workplace (3 days on-site), you will gain exposure to corporate income tax and transfer pricing as ICEYE expands, collaborating with finance colleagues and external advisors to ensure compliant, efficient tax

Qualifications

• Master's degree in tax, law, accounting, or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant tax experience in consulting, law, tax authority, or in-house tax.
• Strong indirect taxation expertise; cross-border or multi-jurisdictional experience is a plus.
• Genuine interest in expanding into corporate income tax and transfer pricing.
• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.
• Analytical rigor with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Commercial curiosity and pragmatic, hands-on approach.
• Proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Collaborates well across teams and with more senior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support in indirect tax questions, including transaction, contracts, and new business models.
• Monitor changes in indirect tax legislation across relevant jurisdictions and assess impact on ICEYE’s business and systems.
• Support identifying and documenting cross-border transaction flows for indirect tax and transfer pricing purposes.
• Assist in indirect tax audits and inquiries; manage day-to-day relationships with tax authorities and external advisors.
• Identify automation opportunities to scale VAT compliance, controlling and monitoring as the business grows.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to strengthen controls and mitigate tax risk.
• Support Global Head of Tax on corporate income tax matters with room to grow into a broader role.
• Contribute to transfer pricing documentation and intercompany arrangements.
• Support tax aspects of new market entries, corporate structuring, and cross-functional projects.
• Collaborate with Finance teams and business partners to ensure accurate tax treatment.
