Job summary

Wärtsilä is seeking a senior Global Program Manager to lead the HR Time & Payroll Transformation, directing multi-country, multi-vendor efforts to modernize our time and payroll operations. You will own end-to-end delivery, align projects with the business case and ensure governance across regions.

The role is based in Gdansk, with alternative locations in Bermeo, Madrid, Esposende or Belgrade. Remote work may be possible within these countries.

Qualifications

• Senior-level program management experience across multi-country, multi-vendor transformations.
• Proven track record delivering complex programs on time, within scope and budget.
• Strong stakeholder management at executive levels and steering decisions.
• Knowledge of PM methodologies (PMP/PRINCE2/SAFe) and delivery-focused mindset.
• Experience with HRIS/Time and Payroll ecosystems (e.g., SuccessFactors) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of global Time & Payroll transformation program.
• Define the program plan, milestones, dependencies and critical path.
• Coordinate multi-country and multi-vendor delivery with internal teams.
• Secure governance, budgets and risk management across regions.
• Lead program communications and stakeholder updates.
