Job summary

Easor Oyj is seeking a senior design leader to head product design across Finland, Spain, and beyond. You will recruit, mentor, and align a multi-country team of designers with product and engineering partners, ensuring consistent design language and strong outcomes.

You will drive discovery, establish standards, and push for evidence-based decisions while integrating AI to accelerate the craft and impact of design across the platform.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience leading product design teams
• People-focused management with coaching and 1:1s
• Strong command of discovery, Design Thinking, and evidence-based design
• Experience turning insights into design decisions and outcomes
• Ability to see the full customer journey and maintain a Design System
• Clear writing for narratives, decisions, and principles

Responsibilities

• Lead the designers: hire, develop, and manage performance; address underperformance and maintain career ladders.
• Set the bar on quality: run design reviews, critique sessions, and raise standards as the team improves.
• Make design decisions objective: rely on evidence, qualitative and quantitative testing; tie craft to business outcomes.
• Mentor in discovery: teach problem discovery methodology; ensure robust ideation and disciplined processes.
• Own coherence: maintain a single design language across teams and countries; oversee Design System.
• Bring AI into the practice: identify where AI speeds design and integrate it into workflows.
