Job summary

Easor Finland is seeking a head of Product Design to lead up to eight designers across Finland and Spain. You will shape the design practice, hire and develop talent, and align design work with product goals while partnering with engineering leadership.

You will oversee design reviews, maintain a unified design language, and explore how AI can accelerate design across our platform. Fluency in English is required; Finnish or Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the designers. Hire, develop, and manage performance. Address underperformance directly. Keep and grow the strong ones. Write and maintain the career ladder that performance management rests on.
• Set the bar on quality. Run design reviews and critique sessions to establish a common standard and provide feedback before designs ship.
• Make design decisions objective. Use qualitative and quantitative testing; craft judged against business outcomes.
• Mentor in discovery. Coach designers working with product managers and engineers; teach methodology and uphold process with ample ideas generated and evaluated.
• Own coherence. Maintain one design language across teams and countries; manage seams between sub-products and the customer journey.
• Bring AI into the practice. Identify where AI accelerates design and embed it in the workflow.
