Job summary

Academic Work Finland Oy is seeking a Technical Implementation Manager to plan and deliver strategic finance technology projects across a global landscape. You will coordinate with project managers, technical experts, and external vendors to ensure timely, on-budget delivery and successful user adoption of new systems.

You will lead technical workstreams, manage scope, timelines, budgets, and risks, and collaborate with Finance, IT, and business units.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT project management experience delivering large-scale financial solutions or enterprise systems.
• Strong history of steering complex, multi-country initiatives with diverse stakeholder landscapes.
• Governance, budgeting, internal controls, cybersecurity, and data privacy knowledge.
• Proven ability to manage external systems integrators and software partners.
• Stellar written and spoken English skills; able to facilitate executive steering meetings and technical deep-dives alike.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance projects’ technical workstreams in collaboration with service managers and global program management.
• Manage project IT scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies.
• Coordinate solution design, testing, deployment, and transition into operations.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders, IT teams, business units, and external vendors.
• Prepare status reports, steering committee materials, business cases, and project gate reviews.
• Ensure compliance with project governance, internal controls, cybersecurity, and data privacy.
• Support change management, communication, training, and user adoption activities.
