Job summary

KoBold Metals is seeking a senior Commercial Director for the Mingomba copper project. You will lead commercial strategy, contracting and procurement for a multi‑billion USD development, spanning EPC/EPCM options, with a focus on local content and risk management.

The role requires international travel and coordination with engineering, finance, and operations to deliver a predictable, safe, and cost‑effective project.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of commercial leadership on multi‑billion dollar projects.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM or design‑build contracting models.
• Strong knowledge of major contract forms, risk and change management.
• Ability to develop local supplier capability and governance.

Responsibilities

• Set the commercial direction and governance for the Mingomba project.
• Lead contracting, procurement and supply chain activities for major packages.
• Drive market engagement, tendering, negotiation and contract formation.
• Manage cost control, forecasting and risk across the project lifecycle.
• Ensure local content targets and ethical supplier practices.
• Champion oversight and alignment with finance and operations.
