## Global Application EngineerApply: Vaasa, Finland: Full time: Posted Today: JR11294We are looking for a solution-oriented **Global Application Engineer** to join Uponor Infra. You will help develop and apply infrastructure solutions for stormwater, potable water, and related utility systems. The position can be based in Vaasa or Nastola in Finland, or in Fristad, Sweden.In this role, you will combine engineering expertise, 3D modelling, and customer-facing application support to develop solutions that meet customer and business needs. You will collaborate closely with customers and partners, as well as with commercial, engineering, and operational teams across the organization. The role has a global scope and reports to the Manager, Design & Engineering.## ## What you will do:* Provide technical expertise for stormwater, potable water, and other infrastructure applications.* Advise sales organizations, customers, designers, consultants, and other key stakeholders on application-specific needs.* Review customer requirements and develop solutions that are technically sound and commercially viable.* Participate in concept development, design reviews, and improvements to product applications.* Provide guidance on applicable standards, regulations, and engineering best practices.* Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, manufacturing and installation drawings, technical specifications, and other project documentation using CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor.* Act as a technical interface between customers and internal commercial, engineering, and operational teams.* Participate in project meetings and customer workshops.* Support the implementation of global engineering standards and design tools.**To succeed in this role, you likely bring:*** A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or another relevant technical field.* A few years of relevant experience in engineering, technical application support, or a similar role.* Experience or knowledge in plastic manufacturing and stormwater or potable water systems.* Strong technical understanding of infrastructure applications, with a practical approach to translating technical expertise into effective solutions.* Experience with 3D modelling and CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor.* Ability to create and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and other engineering documentation.* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively across functions, countries, and diverse stakeholder groups.Ready to make an impact?
