Job summary

Supercell is seeking a Game Designer to join the Clash Royale team in Helsinki. You will develop and improve gameplay features, such as new cards and game modes, and collaborate closely with the team to realize the game vision and roadmap.

You should bring extensive gameplay design experience, a track record in action/strategy/RPG games, and a passion for making great games. Relocation support is available for this role.

Qualifications

• Extensive understanding, skills and experience with gameplay design.
• Track record with comparable games in action, strategy or RPG genres.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Dedicated Clash Royale player and live game experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new characters, spells, troops, and forms that grow the game’s strategic depth and diversity of playstyles.
• Provide multiple potential designs and solutions, articulate trade-offs and risks between different options.
• Balance existing gameplay elements to ensure healthy engagement KPIs, and maintain a healthy state of the overall game meta.
• Contribute new design ideas and participate in feature development.
• Work closely with the rest of the team to ensure that new gameplay supports the overall game vision and roadmap.
