Job summary

Nordea is seeking a hands-on Fullstack Developer to help build the self-service portal for AI and API platform capabilities. You will work across backend and frontend, implementing new features, and integrating with internal systems and external vendors.

The role emphasizes scalable API design, quality and security, and collaboration with DevOps, UI/UX, and product teams. The position is permanent with a hybrid work location in Helsinki, Finland or Gdańsk, Poland.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Development, or related field.
• Professional experience as a fullstack, backend, or frontend developer.
• Must have Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, and building/consuming REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining backend and frontend components of the self-service portal, and implementing new capabilities.
• Building backend services using Spring Boot.
• Creating frontend features with React, TypeScript, and Material UI.
• Developing and troubleshooting integrations between the gateway and internal applications or external vendors.
• Designing and consuming REST APIs to ensure reliable, maintainable, and well-structured service interfaces.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality platform capabilities.
• Contributing to future AI-driven features and integrations within the platform, supporting LLMs, MCP, and A2A.
