Job summary

AFRY Finland is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join the Industry Division Project Delivery Tools team. You will help develop and support AFRY’s internal engineering tools, integrations, and digital solutions.

Work location can be any AFRY Finland site with a flexible hybrid model. You will collaborate across cross-functional teams, prepare requirements, manage backlogs in Azure DevOps, and promote DevOps and AI-assisted development practices to improve efficiency and

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a broad range of software development modalities in cross-functional and international environments.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Solid technical background enabling effective communication with engineering and IT teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of system integrations, APIs, enterprise applications, and application architecture.
• Experience with Azure DevOps/Jira, GitLab, CI/CD, and modern development practices.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM-driven development approaches and modern collaboration tools.
• Understanding of plant engineering tools, workflows, and digital engineering environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills and a consultive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, infrastructure, and data/AI specialists.
• Prepare and manage technical and functional requirements and documentation.
• Participate in backlog management, prioritization, risk management, and transparent reporting through Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliant and secure solution delivery.
• Promote modern engineering practices including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and AI-assisted ways of working.
• Identify opportunities and contribute to improving efficiency, scalability, innovation, and collaboration across the engineering tools landscape.
