Job summary

AFRY Finland is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join the Industry Division Project Delivery Tools team. You will help develop and support AFRY's internal engineering tools, integrations, and digital solutions in a flexible hybrid setup across Finland locations.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong understanding of Agile/DevOps practices, and experience with Azure, APIs, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• Broad range of software development modalities in cross-functional and international environments.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong technical background enabling effective communication with engineering and IT teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of system integrations, APIs, enterprise applications, and application architecture.
• Experience with Azure DevOps/Jira, GitLab, CI/CD, and modern development practices.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM-driven development approaches and modern collaboration tools.
• Understanding of plant engineering tools, workflows, and digital engineering environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a consultative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, infrastructure, and data/AI specialists.
• Prepare and manage technical and functional requirements and documentation.
• Participate in backlog management, prioritization, risk management, and reporting through Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliant and secure solution delivery.
• Promote Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and AI-assisted ways of working (GitHub Copilot/Claude Code).
• Identify opportunities and contribute to improving efficiency, scalability, and collaboration across the engineering tools landscape.
