Wamo Enterprise is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant based in Helsinki to own the Finnish entity's accounting cycle from books to consolidation. You will report to the CFO and work within a high-volume operation spanning multiple entities, ensuring accurate month- and year-end closes.

You will manage statutory reporting under Finnish GAAP, VAT filings, and coordinate with external auditors, while driving process improvements and maintaining compliance as volumes scale.

Competenze

• 6+ years of hands-on in-house accounting in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of Finnish GAAP (FAS), VAT, and Finnish statutory reporting.
• Experience with multi-entity closing and consolidation is a plus.
• Ability to interpret financial results and communicate insights to CFO/leadership.
• Comfort with Netvisor and familiarity with cross-checks and reconciliations.

Mansioni

• Own bookkeeping, postings and reconciliations for the Finnish entity end-to-end.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closes hands-on.
• Prepare statutory financial statements under Finnish GAAP (FAS) and consolidate reporting.
• Manage VAT returns, local tax filings and statutory reports.
• Coordinate with external accountants and auditors, ensuring audit readiness.
• Drive process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency as the company grows.
