Job summary

Customs Support Group (CSG) in Helsinki is seeking a Senior Accountant / Financial Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting for Finland and to support Group Finance across the region in a hybrid or home-office setup.

You will lead monthly closings, ensure Finnish statutory compliance, prepare IFRS and local GAAP statements, and collaborate with the Nordic finance team and Poland. Strong Finnish regulations knowledge is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar.
• 6+ years of accounting experience.
• 2+ years of financial controlling experience.
• Fluency in Finnish and English.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
• Solid understanding of Finnish regulations.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics BC is a plus.

Responsibilities

The role

As a Senior Accountant / Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance for Finland. You will work closely with both the local Nordic team and Group Finance while contributing to continuous process improvements. As such, strong knowledge of Finnish regulations is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

What You Bring

• Background in customs or logistics is beneficial
