Job summary

Green Infrastructure Partners is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the corporate accounting function, oversee month-end close, and ensure accurate balance sheets. You will act as a technical accounting resource for Operations Finance teams and drive standardized practices across the organization.

You will collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Operations, IT and external auditors, mentoring a team and helping scale accounting processes, acquisitions integration, and finance transformation

Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in financial reporting or corporate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting.
• Experience leading or mentoring accounting professionals.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a merger and acquisition (M&A) environment is a strong asset.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP systems experience (JD Edwards).

Responsibilities

• Lead the corporate accounting function and oversee month-end close activities for the enterprise.
• Ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of balance sheet accounts through timely reconciliations, reviews and resolution of outstanding items.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations and accounting schedules prepared by the team.
• Hands-on approach with ability to prepare detailed accounting schedules and support reconciliations.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering growth and high performance.
• Act as the primary accounting advisor to Operations Finance teams and partner with other functions to resolve issues.
