Job summary

Nefco is seeking a hands-on finance professional to join our Helsinki Finance Department. You will blend controller duties with improving processes, systems, and ways of working to strengthen internal controls and financial reporting.

You will oversee lending and trust fund disbursements, support budgeting and forecasting, and drive continuous improvements across the finance function in a collaborative, international environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, financial controlling, reporting, or corporate finance.
• Experience with financial system updates and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI and Excel for reports and data analysis.
• Ability to implement improvements in workflows and controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee disbursement processes for lending programmes and trust funds.
• Prepare and deliver financial reports, cost analyses, and budgeting support.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end/year-end closing.
• Support internal controls and compliance with policies and standards.
• Drive process improvements and automation across finance workflows.
