Job summary

OX2 Finland is seeking a Financial Controller based in Helsinki to manage accounting, reporting and compliance for Finnish entities. You will partner with Finance, Development, Construction and Asset Management teams, delivering high‑quality financial information under the Finance Manager Nordics.

Qualifications

• Extensive accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Strong understanding of Finnish statutory accounting requirements.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closings and VAT/tax compliance.
• Auditors liaison and statutory reporting experience.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Take full accounting responsibility for Finnish entities and ensure accurate financial records.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings; prepare statutory reports and declarations.
• Maintain audit trails, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Manage VAT registrations, VAT reporting and tax filings; support accounts payable.
• Provide financial insight to investors and cross-functional teams; support governance processes.
