Job summary

Atlas NextWave is seeking a Field Service Technician to support its Energy Storage Systems in Finland. You will be the on-site electrical expert, performing maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs across Finland with potential Nordic assignments.

The role requires hands-on experience with energy storage or high-voltage systems, PLCs (Siemens) and embedded software, plus valid safety training and licenses. A university-level electrical background and strong language skills in Finnish and English

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent vocational qualification.
3–5 years of electrical experience, preferably in energy storage or high-voltage applications.
Experience with PLC systems (Siemens) and embedded software.
Knowledge of low- and high-voltage installations.
Familiarity with SFS 6000/6001 standards and safety training.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned maintenance to keep installations safe, reliable and ready to perform.
Diagnose electrical and control faults, replace components and restore operation.
Perform inspections, electrical measurements and technical checks.
Collaborate with Support Engineers to resolve complex issues.
Record maintenance activities, faults and spare parts usage.
Maintain service vehicle with tools and parts required.
Provide insights to engineering teams to improve products and service.
Maintain high safety standards and report incidents.
