Job summary

KONE is seeking a Head of Field Resource Management to lead frontline installation workforce strategy in Australia. Based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, you will ensure optimal allocation of internal and subcontracted installation resources to meet demand and support performance.

You will drive proactive planning, supplier management and cross-functional collaboration to improve productivity while maintaining safety, quality and regulatory compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in resource management, workforce planning, or operational planning.
• Experience managing installation portfolios, resource allocation and delivery performance.
• Solid understanding of S&OP, sourcing, procurement and purchasing processes.
• Proven subcontractor performance management, capacity and commercial relations.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across functions.
• Strong knowledge of safety and quality management principles and compliance.
• Commercial understanding of installation costs, productivity and cost optimisation.
• Well-developed project management skills to handle competing priorities and deadlines.
• Knowledge of legislation, standards, regulations and compliance for installation operations.
• Understanding of contract terms, obligations, and risk with installation and subcontractor agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation resource planning with short, medium and long-term strategies.
• Translate demand into workforce requirements including internal resources and subcontractors.
• Communicate forecast requirements to subcontractors to secure capacity.
• Coordinate cross-border resource needs with purchasing.
• Monitor resource availability, identify gaps and improve productivity.
• Escalate resource risks and provide visibility to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with training teams to ensure workforce capability and capacity.
• Allocate resources and maintain supplier data within systems.
• Drive proactive resource planning and analyse variances.
• Support operations with planning tools, processes and practices.
• Partner with sourcing to define supplier requirements for projects.
• Meet with subcontractors to ensure plan execution and compliance.
