Job summary

BYD Europe is seeking a Site Acquisition Manager to identify, secure, and progress strategic locations for the Flash Charging network in Finland, focusing on greenfield development and retrofit opportunities.

You will own the end-to-end local site acquisition process, coordinate with legal/commercial teams, and lead stakeholder engagements with landowners, municipalities, utilities, and site operators to ensure scalable, long-term deployment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in site acquisition, real estate development, infrastructure expansion, or EV charging deployment.
• Fluent English and Finnish required to engage with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Ability to operate autonomously within a fast-paced matrix organisation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source suitable locations for Flash Charging deployment including highways, retail destinations, and urban developments.
• Lead end-to-end site acquisition, feasibility, permitting, and readiness for deployment.
• Coordinate with Legal & Commercial teams on contract frameworks and risk management.
• Engage with landowners, developers, municipalities, utilities, and site operators to secure and retrofit sites.
• Ensure sites are scalable and aligned with BYD’s network rollout priorities.
• Support cross-functional teams to move opportunities from identification to deployment.
