Job summary

Verda is scaling a European AI cloud and seeks an Engineering Talent Acquisition Lead to build and lead the engineering hiring function. You will own recruitment for senior roles while managing a small team of recruiters and sourcers, shaping strategy, processes, and standards for scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience recruiting technical talent in technology environments.
• Proven success hiring senior software engineers, infrastructure engineers, AI researchers, or similar.
• Experience mentoring recruiters while delivering recruitment results.
• Strong sourcing, talent mapping, and market intelligence capabilities.
• Experience partnering with Engineering leaders on hiring strategy and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering Talent Acquisition at Verda, defining hiring strategies with engineering leaders and delivering for senior engineering roles.
• Build and coach a small team of recruiters and sourcers, setting priorities and creating a high-performance culture.
• Establish scalable hiring processes, interview frameworks, sourcing strategies, and recruiting metrics to improve quality and speed.
• Advise leaders on talent availability, compensation trends, and market dynamics to stay competitive.
