Job summary

Bittium seeks a leading technologist to standardize software development across its group, spanning firmware to web frontends. You will set the bar for development, review, testing, documenting and shipping, with hands-on rollout and leadership access.

You will shape the engineering handbook, governance of CI/CD, and group-wide tooling, while pushing modernization across teams and maintaining a hands-on engineering presence.

Qualifications

• Software engineering background capable of engaging with senior engineers.
• Track record of changing how teams work and adopting modern tooling.
• Strong hands-on coding and ability to drive change across org.

Responsibilities

• Define and raise modern software engineering standards across the group.
• Set group-wide engineering workflow: VCS, branching, code review and CI/CD.
• Decide release quality gates including test automation and documentation.
• Author a practical engineering handbook with senior engineers.
• Help shape how engineering health is measured.
