Job summary

If Insurance seeks an experienced Employee Communication Manager Finland to coordinate and adapt communications for our Finnish workforce. The role collaborates with Nordic colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure effective messaging across channels.

You will lead local content planning, production, and advisory work, while staying connected to business needs and employer branding efforts within the Nordic team.

Qualifications

The employee communication department in If is responsible for driving If’s internal communications agenda across our Nordic markets well as supporting HR in their employer branding work. We’re now looking for an experienced employee communicator to join our great team.

About The Role

As Employee Communication Manager Finland your main responsibility is coordinating, producing and adjusting communication to make sure it’s optimized for If’s Finish employees. It’s also included in the role to support Nordic communication activities together with your Nordic employee communications colleagues. In addition to your colleagues in Employee Communication, you work in close collaboration with the external communication team as well as local specialist & leaders across all business areas.

We’re a Nordic internal communications team consisting of a group of Nordic Employee Specialists driving cross-Nordic projects and Country Managers responsible for steering and coordinating the employee communication within their markets. We’re a creative, ambitious, and inclusive group who take great pride in our team spirit. Together we work towards our shared mission to build strong If ambassadors, a strong culture and engaged employees through efficient communication. We’re also strategic partners to HR in their task to engage and retain top talents for If and are coordinating the Employer Branding work within If’s marketing and communication unit.

We are looking for a colleague with a true passion for employee communication and culture building. You are an experienced internal communicator who enjoys building a strong local network and staying close to the business in Finland to ensure our communication is always optimized towards the target group in your market. You thrive in a varied workday ranging from coordinating the local communication plan to production, event planning and communication advising. You are people-centric, efficient and good at prioritizing your efforts where it’s most needed to reach the common targets of the team. You’re an appreciated colleague with a positive mindset and genuine care for those around you.

You Have

• A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar employee communications role.
• Strong skills in:
• Content planning and writing
• Creating engaging and value-adding communications using a broad mix of channels, including intranet, films, screens and events
• Business knowledge & networking
• Experience in managing leader communications as well as change communications.
• Excellent language skills; a strong communicator in both English and Finnish.
• A relevant university degree.
