Job summary

Unikie is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our international automotive software project for a major client. You will work in a consultant role developing in-vehicle software, ensuring reliability and delivering fixes.

You will have access to cutting-edge AI tooling and collaborate with colleagues in the US; on-site work in Helsinki or Tampere is strongly preferred, with flexible arrangements and a collaborative, low-bureaucracy culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and test complex embedded software for in-vehicle systems.
• Investigate and fix system-level issues such as crashes, restarts and performance problems.
• Test and debug on development hardware in the office and on remote test benches.
• Deliver changes through code review and the client’s build and release process.
• Work closely with client engineers and managers in the US, and with technology partners.
• Share clear written progress updates and keep tasks up to date.
