Job summary

KONE Canada is seeking a Field Installation / Modernization Mechanic based in Vancouver, BC to analyze, troubleshoot and install elevator equipment, coordinating with subcontractors, general contractors and consultants on modernization projects. Safety comes first as you adhere to standards, meet installation timelines and report progress to your supervisor.

A TSBC Class A License is required, and candidates must be able to travel up to 95% and lift up to 100 lbs; the role demands strong

Qualifications

• Must obtain or hold a TSBC Class A License.
• Strong communication and clear internal/external dialogue.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and travel up to 95% of the time.
• Experience with elevator installation and modernization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install major elevator equipment and assemble components on-site.
• Wire and install smaller components and perform safety checks.
• Work with subcontractors and report progress to the supervisor.
