Job summary

Outokumpu Oyj in Tornio invites an electronics technician to join the Maintenance team in Factory Services on a permanent basis. You will maintain, diagnose, repair and improve industrial video surveillance, radio-control devices, radios, and related equipment to support safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Suitable technical education.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing and repairing camera and video surveillance systems.

Job description

We are hiring an electronics technician for camera and radio maintenance at our Tornio factory, to join the Maintenance team in Factory Services on a permanent basis. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, repairing and improving industrial video surveillance systems, radio-control devices, radios, vehicle jacks, and radiation gates. Your work supports production safety, reliability and uninterrupted operation. The position offers an opportunity to develop expertise in a specialized environment and to work on critical systems as part of a skilled team. The role is supported by a professional team.

Your tasks include

• installing, servicing and repairing camera and video surveillance systems
• maintaining radio communication systems and equipment
• performing preventive maintenance and fault repairs
• diagnosing and resolving fault and disturbance situations
• contributing to system development, commissioning, modernization, documentation and maintenance reporting
• cooperating closely with production departments
