Job summary

JTA Connection Oy is seeking a maintenance technician to perform maintenance, installation and repair on industrial equipment, including conveyors, lifts and robots. The role is primarily based in Iisalmi, Finland, with occasional travel across the country.

The position offers autonomous work with on-call support by phone or on site as needed, and opportunities to grow skills in robotics and automation within a collaborative team.

• Several years of relevant experience with similar equipment.

Job description

The position is for a maintenance technician responsible for maintenance, installation, and repair work on industrial equipment, primarily handling machines such as conveyors, lifts, and robots and their peripheral devices.

The main work area is Iisalmi and surrounding areas, with occasional travel to other parts of Finland a few times per year. The role is autonomous, but with support available by phone and on-site when needed.

Tasks

• maintenance, installation and repair work at customer sites
• small modifications to equipment
• organizing the work with the maintenance team in the field
• maintaining spare parts stock
• reporting maintenance activities in an electronic system

Experience & Skills

• background as a mechanical technician with experience in automation installations
• several years of relevant experience with similar equipment
• ability to assist and guide more experienced technicians
• reading mechanical diagrams and basic understanding of electrical and automation diagrams
• self-driven, responsible work attitude
