Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer – HVAC Systems in Finland to lead the delivery of HVAC electrical projects across the country. • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Finnish language skills.

What you will do

As an Electrical Project Engineer – HVAC Systems, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of HVAC projects across Finland. You will manage electrical project activities from planning through commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver HVAC electrical solutions including power distribution, MCCs, VFDs, control panels, and Building Management Systems (BMS).

• Lead and coordinate HVAC electrical project activities from execution to handover.


• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.


• Collaborate with customers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.


• Review technical documentation, drawings, and commissioning plans.


• Ensure compliance with Finnish and European electrical standards, as well as safety and quality requirements.

What we look for

• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Building Management Systems (BMS) Motor Control Centers (MCCs) Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) HVAC Controls & Automation Power Distribution Systems Electrical Installation, Testing & Commissioning Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Project management certification (PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or equivalent). Finnish language skills.
