Job summary

Hyperion Robotics in Espoo, Finland, seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep our 3D concrete printing systems in good shape. You will blend electrical work with mechanical maintenance, perform preventive maintenance, fault-finding, and record keeping, working closely with engineers and production.

This role is ideal for a certified electrician who wants to grow into mechanical maintenance. Training will be provided; you value safety, hands-on variety, and ensuring machines run reliably.

Qualifications

• Finnish S2 electrical qualification required.
• Experience as an electrician, 2+ years in industry.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and fault-find in control cabinets.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to Lockout/Tagout.
• Good English communication, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on production printing systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults with automation engineers.
• Install and assemble electrical and mechanical systems to spec per Finnish standards.
• Build smaller electrical installations for test setups in R&D area.
• Wire components, connect devices to control boxes, and set up network comms.
• Keep detailed maintenance records in the maintenance system.
• Write and update installation and maintenance protocols as equipment changes.
• Support engineers in tests on new/modified equipment.
• Maintain and improve the Tech R&D workshop, sourcing tools and parts.
• Suggest improvements to maintenance routines and parts.
