Job summary

ABB Oy, Vaasa, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the IEC LV Motors team. You will design customer-specific, low voltage induction motors and create order-focused documentation while collaborating with engineering, factory operations, and global sales.

You will also provide post-order technical support and customer documentation. The role emphasizes teamwork, problem solving, and customer orientation, with a hybrid work model and Finnish/English language requirements.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. level degree in Electrical engineering or similar.
• Knowledge of Adept and Teamcenter.
• Familiarity with MS Office and SAP.
• Good language skills in Finnish and English.
• Experience in electric drive systems and electric motors is a benefit.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design of customer-specific, low voltage induction motors.
• Creating order-specific documentation.
• Collaboration with engineering team, factory, global sales and other stakeholders.
• Providing post order technical support and/or customer documentation.
