Job summary

The EHS Manager will oversee day-to-day environmental, health and safety across a major data centre project in Finland. You will work with construction management and subcontractors to maintain high safety standards on a busy site.

Responsibilities include RAMS reviews, audits, incident investigations and comprehensive EHS reporting. Strong experience in construction and RAMS is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years’ EHS or Health & Safety experience within construction.
• Proven experience on large scale construction, data centre or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of RAMS, site audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Relevant Health & Safety qualification required.

• Manage day to day EHS requirements across the project.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and safety reviews.
• Review RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and close out corrective actions.
• Lead incident and near miss investigations.
• Maintain EHS reporting, records and project safety documentation.
• Work closely with site management to maintain safe programme delivery.

The Company

This European data centre contractor delivers large scale mission critical projects across Finland and the wider European market.

The Role: EHS Manager

The EHS Manager will take responsibility for day to day environmental, health and safety across the major data centre project, working closely with construction management, subcontractors and the wider project team.

You will oversee site compliance, RAMS, audits, inspections and incident reporting while maintaining strong safety standards across a busy construction environment.

Must Have Requirements

• Must have 5+ years’ EHS or Health & Safety experience within construction
• Proven experience required on large scale construction, data centre, industrial or similar projects
• Strong knowledge of RAMS, site audits, risk assessments and incident investigation
• Relevant Health & Safety qualification required

Preferred Experience

• Data centre or mission critical construction experience preferred
• Previous experience working on European construction projects beneficial
• Experience managing subcontractor EHS performance

About You

You will be an experienced EHS Manager or Health & Safety Manager with a practical approach to safety management on major construction projects.

You should be comfortable working across multiple subcontractor packages and confident dealing with construction teams in a large scale data centre environment.
