Job summary

Lapin kesäyliopisto is seeking an education supervisor to guide online-integrated education for the Northern and Eastern Lapland region, with responsibilities also in Kemijärvi and possibly Sodankylä.

The role involves guiding online teaching, on-site support, helping students with devices, supervising tests in both formats, and teaching digital skills. Travel across municipalities and potential substitutes may be required.

Qualifications

• Qualifications include being a Koulunkäynninohjaaja or similar training, extensive digital skills, and strong cooperation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously, constructively, with flexibility and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel and valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Guide online teaching and provide some on-site guidance.
• Support students with device use and setup across multiple municipalities from Kemijärvi to Northern/Lapland areas.
• Supervise tests in both on-site and online formats.
• Inform and guide students and teach basic digital skills.
• Possibly undertake substitute duties.

Job description

The role of a Koulunkäynninohjaaja (education supervisor) focuses on online-integrated integration education for the Northern and Eastern Lapland region, with duties also in Kemijärvi and potentially Sodankylä.

Tasks include guiding online teaching and some on-site guidance, supporting students with device use (transport and setup in various municipalities from Kemijärvi to other municipalities in Northern and Eastern Lapland), supervising tests (written tests in both on‑site and online formats), informing and guiding students, teaching digital skills, and possible substitute duties.

Requirements

• Qualification as a Koulunkäynninohjaaja or other suitable training, experience in the role, excellent digital skills, strong cooperation, communication and organisational abilities, an autonomous, constructive, quality‑minded, flexible, cooperative work style, ability to work in Finnish, travel readiness and driving licence.
• Experience with working with immigrants is valued.
