Job summary

Agoda is seeking a Director of Product – Tax Platform in Bangkok, with relocation provided and a hybrid work model. You will own the global tax platform, leading senior PMs and shaping strategy to adapt to evolving tax regulations across our brands and partners.

You will partner with Group Tax, drive architecture decisions, and oversee end-to-end platform delivery while collaborating with engineering and leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management with at least 5 years in senior leadership.
• Experience building tax platforms for large-scale digital businesses.
• Deep knowledge of indirect tax for digital markets and data requirements.
• Hands-on with tax platform components: master data, rules, invoicing, reconciliation.
• Excellent English communication and cross-team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own vision, strategy and roadmap for Agoda’s global tax platform.
• Partner with Group Tax to translate requirements into outcomes.
• Lead multi-year transformation initiatives for a scalable tax platform.
• Decide buy-vs-build for tax engines and providers; manage integration strategy.
• Collaborate with engineering to shape architecture and prioritize investments.
• Govern tax configuration and change management.
• Drive metrics and report progress to senior leadership.
